==Biography== These stories are available with synergy level, in the hero tab of Qi. {| class="wikitable mw-collapsible mw-collapsed" !Qi Biography |Born in the Land of Dragons, Qi displayed incredible talent for martial arts from a very young age. Her father trained her in her family's traditional Sungming school of martial arts, even as his own health declined. After her father passed away, Qi sold everything that was not tied down in their dojo to pay off their creditors, and left on a long journey across Athanor, seeking battle with the strong to make her name and rebuild the fame of her dojo, foremost of which was Lu bu, the Great Warlord. For all her martial arts skills, however, Qi's ability to find her way is beyond pathetic., and she has traveled beyond the borders of the Land of Dragons through the Desert of Death, and into unfamiliar lands. Still, she has never forgotten her goal of fighting the strong, and helping those in need. |- !Relationship |In the relationship minigame, the "Imaginary rival" of Qi is Lu bu. |- !Anecdote 1 : Warrior |This was it. The moment that she had been waiting for. The long years of training, hard work, coming to a head. The Dragon Child, the Eternal Champion, the Great Warlord...Qi felt no fear as she faced the men known by such titles, only excitement. "Master Lu Bu! I am Qi, 13th-generation of the Sungming school. I seek a duel!" She saluted, and Lu Bu returned the gesture. He was the more established warrior, so Qi had the [missing, help us by contributing to this page !] Though Lu Bu stood unmoving, Qi could feel his aura even from a fair distance away. The knees of a lesser fighter would already have buckled under the pressure. As skilled as Qi was, she felt her pulse quicken and her breathing lose consistency No-she could not let herself lose the fight before it began. Qi forced herself to focus, and aimed for Lu Bu's head with an open palm. Without moving his feet, Lu Bu pushed forward, and met Qi's powerful attack head-on. Qi felt her hands go numb. The shock was like being hit with a sledgehammer, and it was all she could do to avoid falling backwards. Rather than stand her ground and open herself up to further attacks, Qi took a step backwards, avoiding the brunt of the force. No sooner had she found her footing that she was on the attack again, a flurry of five strikes against five different weak points on her opponent's body, each attack more [missing, help us by contributing to this page !] blocking all five attacks with his left arm, and Qi felt like the waves dashing upon an unmovable boulder. The exchange was over in an instant, but it felt like hours for Qi. She barely had the time to catch her breath when she saw a hand headed for her head, and she raised her arms to quard her face instinctively, only for the hand to grab her by the collar and lift her up from the ground. Qi felt her face burn with shame. This was no duel - it was little more than an adult toying with a child. The heritage of her martial arts, passed down through so many generations, meant nothing to his opponent. Anger boiled within Qi, then she felt something grow within her, a power different from the ch'i that she was trained in something deeper and more potent - a place that can only be reached by a true master, someone who has gained complete mastery over their art. In that instant Qi's veins, muscles and bones were filled with strength and she grabbed Lu Bu's arm with both hands Energy flowed through her hands and into Lu Bu's body, and for the first time his impassive face showed signs of emotion. As Lu Bu released Qi, she focused the power in her hands, and struck out with the fury of dragons. Lu Bu raised his arms before his chest to block the attack, but Qi's blow carried such force that he was forced to take several steps back. Qi, however, was in no position to take advantage. She was not yet ready to wield the power that she unleashed for the briefest of moments. Tried as she did, she could not hold back the nausea, and spat out a mouthful of blood. "Let us leave it at that for today," said Lu Bu, and he turned away to leave. "Tha...thank you, Master Lu Bu," replied Qi meekly. Her legs failed her, and she sat down weakly on the ground. |- !Anecdote 2 |If you unlocked this story, please help us by contributing to this page ! |}
